It snowed here again...I don't know about anyone else but I'm ready for winter to be over. Even my dog hates it and she hates very few things. For the record -50 degree weather is NOT my cup of tea. It's supposed to be a scorching 29 degrees today but it will only feel like about 18 degrees according to the weather man.Stitches SUCK! And my leg still hurts! I can only imagine what it's going to feel like in 2 weeks when they come out! Thanks for all the kind words about my mass....Here's hoping there is nothing to worry about....Got everything you can cross crossed.
It's Valentine's day! Happy Valentine's day everybody!
So I got a $25 iTunes giftcard for Christmas and I spent the whole thing and then some on audiobooks. As I'm writing this post I'm downloading Killer Angels by Michael Shaara (soon to add Gods and Generals to the list too), I've also downloaded Nights in Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks, P.S., I love you by Cecilia Ahern, and Dirty by Megan Hart.I'm in the process of trying to de-clutter my room (which I really need to get back to) and so far I'm sucking pretty miserabley at it. There is soooo much junk laying on my floor right now that I'm actually embarassed....I can not believe I have soooo much stuff. Most of which I really don't need, which will either be going into trash or into my bags to go to Goodwill or St. Vincents (which take up most of my closet and a corner of my room right now). I've got 3 laundry baskets of laundry I need to do and actually put away this time (getting it done isn't the problem, putting it away is the problem). I'm in desperate need of a paper shredder and we don't have one that actually works.It's colder than HELL here in Wisconsin AGAIN! I think I heard that with the wind chill figured in for Wednesday night it was supposed to be between -35 and -45 degrees below 0. I heard that the high for Thursday is supposed to be -6 degrees but with the wind chill factor it's supposed to feel more like -20 to -35 degrees. I can hardly wait....Have I mentioned that I am NOT a big fan of winter?
It's snowing again here in the great state of Wisconsin. I wish it would stop. I'm ready for it to be spring again....Does anyone second that? I'm ready for sunscreen and 60-70 degree weather, but I'll settle for no more snow for a few days at least.I just wanted to let you all know that I did put comment moderation on any post older than 7 days....That way I know who's commenting on my older stuff. It's snowing here in the great state of WI again....Today we're supposed to get 4-6" and tomorrow (Christmas EVE) we're supposed to get another 4-6". Now I have no objection to a "White Christmas" (cause we're going to have one wether we want one or not) but I DO have an objection to snow on CHRISTMAS EVE!Now I'm off that soap box....Let's talk about something fun.....I'm starting to eat solid food again (I had my wisdom teeth pulled last Wednesday for any new readers out there)....It bothered me the first couple times I tried it but it's getting easier each time. I can hardly wait to try out some of the food we've got prepared for our family Christmas tomorrow night!Christmas is here at our house this year....Last year it was at my brother's place but since they moved into a smaller place it's back at our place again. So today is pretty much going to be spent cleaning and wrapping presents and somewhere in there I've got to get some sleep too.I just realized that it's been almost a month since we put Shawna down. I've also realized that I can actually put Laci's food dish back down on the floor (she's spoiled and I had it up on a little table so she could lie on my bed and eat out of her bowl at the same time.) We originally put her bowl up to keep Shawna out of it....bad things happened when Shawna got in to Laci's food bowl.
