I have been in the process of growing my hair out for a little over a year now. When I started it was REALLY short...I unfortuantely could not find a picture of myself with my super short hair....so without further adue I give you Alyssa Milano with super short hair.I took some pictures this morning of my progress so far....Check these out!

It's about jaw length now but it's still driving me crazy because it's in that stage where you can only do so much with it.

This is how my hair is usually "done" a little pony tail near the top of my head or in a headband.

Friday's are usually for my blessings, but....

I'm not feeling very blessed right now so I'm just going to do a list of things that I hope to "accomplish" this year:

1. I hope to get my car loan paid down enough that I won't still be living at home for another 2 YEARS.

2. I hope that I don't have anymore major problems with my car....which lead to a really crappy end to my 2008.

3. I hope to pay off at LEAST 1 of my credit cards....More than learned my lesson with "plastic" shopping.

4. ACTUALLY finish a knitting project. I'm getting close to finally finishing the scarf that was supposed to be part of my mom's Christmas present!

5. I hope to lose about 20 pounds.

6. I hope to grow my hair out to at LEAST shoulder length by the end of the year.

7. To set aside some money for a "me" vacation.

8. I hope to meet some of my bloggy pals in real life (at some point I hope)

9. To have my "featured blogger" day on SITS.

10. To just set some money aside.

11. To pay off my debt to the "Bank of Dad."

12. To start acquiring things for when I can actually afford to move out. (this is more of a long term goal)

13. To manage my money better.

An open letter to my hair

This was actually taken a few months ago. My hair is now down to my jaw level.

Dear Hair,

I have been in the process of growing you out for a little over a year now and as much as I love the progress we have made together, I really wish you would grow a little faster. I really would love to be able to do something fun, styling wise with you but right now we are in that "icky" stage where there just aren't all that many styling options.

We've come a long ways and I am not going to give up just yet, but I would soooo love it if I were actually able to style you in some way when Ashley and I go to Nampa in April to see our Cowboys. I hope I haven't upset you tooooo much with my "express myself with a new hair color" stage.....that would be really upsetting to me. Even though I'm not a real big fan of my natural hair color.....Dishwater blond is kinda blah in my opinion. I've even given that up until you get a little longer.....I hope you don't mind?

Well, I guess now that I've made my wishes known I'll keep taking my vitamins and experiment and see if I can't find a couple of different ways to style you until you get a little bit longer. So GROW, GROW like the wind!

P.S. Bangs same goes for you....Your driving me NUTS!
