The black fella above is Spooky. He's one of the dogs that we're considering. He's a young (almost 3 year old) Black Lab mix. Poor Spooky, he suffers from "Black Dog Syndrome."
This is Flick. He's another young (almost 2 years old) Lab mix that we are considering. Poor fella, he's been adopted once already, but because he had 3 mini seizures he was brought back to the shelter. He's a bigger fella too...about 65 pounds of lover from what the shelter said....No "Black Dog Syndrome" here.
This is Missy...She's another dog that we are considering adopting. While the other two dogs that we are considering are younger animals (2 to 3 years old), Missy is a very young 7 years old. While technically considered a "senior" dog she's still got a lot of years left in her especially if she's been well taken care of in her "past life."
In my sidebar I've put up a poll where you can help us pick our new family companion should we proceed with the adoption process. The poll closes on April 22.
Oh how hard to choose... I love them all!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't vote. They are all sweet. It's great that you are adopting. I'm sure you will pick the right dog for your family. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteI feel so bad for the middle dog! How awful to be unadopted! What a difficult choice you have, though, since they all need good homes and will probably all make very happy grateful pets!
ReplyDeleteOH MAN! I LOVE them ALL!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how happy this makes me to see this!
You're wonderful!!!
:D
Congrats!! I am also a supporter of sheler dogs. I refuse to pay money for an animal when there are so many great animals that need homes and love ready to be adopted. I see why you put up a poll. It's so hard to pick just one!
ReplyDeleteOh man, I would want them alll! I couldn't say no to ANY of those darling faces!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the "black dog syndrome?"
ReplyDeleteI'd love to vote...but can't choose. They are all special dogs. I think it is wonderful that you are thinking of adopting one. Good luck deciding...it's a tough choice.
ReplyDeleterescue dogs are the best... i love ours, wouldnt trade him for the world!
